The Neighborhood of Pico Robertson is adjacent to Beverly Hills. Canfield Elementary School is a big draw for this area. Great schools rank the Canfield Elementary school an impressive 8/10. The Castle Heights school district is not in the Pico Robertson neighborhood, that school is in the Beverlywood school district. While traditionally this neighborhood has been a very low key and family-oriented, in recent years the new construction Apartments like us at the Regency Holt and are bringing in a new demographic of Young Professionals that want to be close to work and fun things to do. Pico Robertson is an incredibly convenient Neighborhood sharing many similarities to the Miracle Mile Neighborhood but also benefiting from being further West.

Type of Pico and Robertson Apartments for Rent

Most of the inventory in the Pico Robertson neighborhood was built between the 1920-1930s and 1950s-1960s. The Older 20’s buildings were duplexes and Triplexes, maybe a 4 plex here or there. The neighborhood of Pico Robertson just North of Pico has very few single-family homes, the neighborhood is primarily apartments and condos. Going South of Pico, you will encounter a 50/50 mix of Single-Family Houses with Condos and Apartments. In General, values tend to go up as you head West in Pico Robertson neighborhoods. There were a smattering of buildings from the 1980s and 1990s, the neighborhood was pretty quiet until Recently in 2017 when the Transit Oriented Corridor was passed in Los angeles. This allowed a 5th story, the neighborhood height limit was capped at 4 before that, and increased density, caused a dozen buildings to be built. The First Building finished in Jan 2019 was 8590  Pico Blvd, we here at the Regency Holt are the second in Nov 2019. There are a few buildings scheduled to be finishing in the neighborhood, but I doubt they will have better finishes then we do!
